Lady Gaga can be considered the voice of a generation ; with her "be yourself" attitude young people everywhere are dealing with issues that at one time were looked down or frowned upon. Gaga knows what it is to be talked about, and critisized. Everything from her comments to her outrageous dress is subject to media scrutiny. Gaga has earned her place in music history with impressive album sales along with gaining a husge following from youth all over. There is no comparing her to any other artist in the past because she is in a league of her own.

Her exotic dress choices makes her the Queen of the VMA's and at this years awards ceremony everyone will be waiting to see what the controversial artist will wear next. If it's not her exotic dress it's her pro gay comments that she makes that keeps her in the public eye. The things she does and says have made it much easier for young people dealing with their inner strugles reach a point where they accept who or what they are.  Gaga will be performing at this years VMA's and I'm sure she has something big planned for all of her fans.

Michael Jackson is CLEARLY the king of pop. He has numerous #1 and he has been making music since the 60's. This discussion is not about albulm sales, ticket sales, or apperances.
This discussions simply asks the question; who has the best moves?

We have all seen Michael Jackson moonwalk across the stage just as many times as we've seen Chris Brown flip, tumble and jump around stage, but is Mr. Brown the modern day Mike when it comes to entertaining the crowd. Well we will let you be the judge.....

****VMA's GAGA'S WORLD****

Lady Gaga will be in attendance at this years VMA's, but the question on everyones mind is what will the controversial singer wear. We all know Gaga to be very unpredictable as far as the VMA's are concerned. We've seen Gaga wear some of the most outrageous outfits known to man ( and Animal), but will this years VMA's be any different for the artist. Could we see the artist tone it down this year, or will she raise the bar as she is known to do?

The VMA's will air August 28, 2011

Amy Whinehouses toxicology reports are in, and there were no drugs found in the singers system. The 27 year old soulful singer died last month, but her death still remains a mystery. Many thought that Whinehouses past drug use had caught up with her. We now see that is clearly not the case.

Although Alcohol was present in her system; it could not be determined if it is what killed her. A short time after her death her family released a statement that suggested that Whinehouse quit using alcohol cold turkey; subsequently leading to her death. There are instances were sudden hault of a substance such as
alcohol leads to a deadly relapse. The Mystery still continues into the death of Amy Whinehouse.

Katy Perry makes history and becomes the second artist to have five songs
from an album reach #1 on the billboard charts. If you don't understand how big of an accomplishment this is; the last and only other person to do it was .... Dare I say... Michael Jackson (Bad Album). I guess it's safe to say that someone is doing something right. Her current album Teenage Dreams include collaborations with big names like Snoop Dogg and Kanye West.

Perry's Last Friday Night is holding down the #1 position
at this moment. Other songs off of her Teenage Dreams album to peak at #1 include "Teenage Dream", “Firework,” “California Gurls (F. Snoop Dogg),”and  “E.T (F Kanye West). Move over Gaga there is a force out there to be reckoned with and he name is Perry, Katy Perry

As if Lindsay Lohan couldn't stay out the legal arena; she recently filled a lawsuit against
pitbull for his use of her name in a song written by Ne-Yo and AfroJack. In the song Give Me Everything Pitbull says:

Hustlers move aside, so I'm tiptoein', to keep flowin'
I got it locked up like Lindsay Lohan.

Lindsay claims that she is a well respected actor, and even uses the Screen Actors Guild as leverage in her suit against the artists. Lohan claims that she is suing because the appearance of her name in the song "causes her to be associated and identified in connection with defendants."

I would think that Lohan would have enough dealings in legal proceedings following all the trouble she has been associated with in the past. She must be trying to clean up the bad girl image for something more mature. Not mad at you for that.
